User Guide
1.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, the first time you
use the program, you have to give permissions for access. When
the program starts you will see a yellow notification stripe
along the top of the screen. Click on this stripe "Allow Access
to Internet" or something related. Then, the program will work
without any problem.
2.
After the program becomes active, you can enter text using either
the hardware keyboard or the software keyboard on the program
into the provided fields. You may copy and paste from
wordprocessors.
3.
You can use copy command to copy the text into the clipboard and
paste it into any wordprocessor. It is best to use MS Word..
Transcribtion
Transcriptions are given in the font named
Oktay New Transkripsiyon.
Transcribed letters and their opposites on Arabic alphabet are
like this (the font must be installed and you must see right to
left permutation):
æ å Ó
ó Ô ô Õ õ Ù ù Ú ú Û û Ò ò á à ä ã ë ê è é ñ
ث ث ح ح ظ ظ ذ ذ ط ط ق ق و و خ
خ غ غ ص ص ض ض ع غ ك
Note:
If the font named
Oktay New Transkripsiyon
is not installed on your computer, the letters will be seen
erroneous. I would strictly suggest you to use a Unicode IPA
font like Gentium Plus or Doulos SIL etc.
